Life has been put on the backburner as I have started intensively studying Korean and also dealing with Olympic withdrawel.

Snapped by my Japanese school. It was hard to believe while taking this picture that the centre of Vancouver's worst neighbourhood which is known for it's drug culture, homeless presence and violence, is just two blocks from where I was standing.

Won't be posting for the next month-ish as I will be busy with all the holiday festivities that accompanies a large family, a ski trip, and preparing for a very full Spring semester.

Pigeons

Heading to Kintaro Ramen, a very busy little ramen shop in downtown Vancouver, for mid-day sustenance. Was waiting for the bus with a friend and came across a flock of pigeons chowing down on a dropped sandwich. In the 5 minutes that I was waiting at the stop, the sandwich had all but disappeared.

Sinclair Centre

Another beautiful day in Vancouver, it's getting quite chilly but the sun just keeps on coming! Snapped at the Sinclair Centre in Downtown Vancouver.

Around and around

Downtown Vancouver is the main business, shopping, and night-life district in the Lower Mainland. I absolutely love the area which is why I work and go to school there, and if I could afford it, I'd probably be living there too. Although it's one of the most dense areas in this metro, you can find little bits of peace and quiet without straying too far from the parties.
